Logansport Savings Bank celebrates Grand Re-Opening of Main Branch
Logansport Savings Bank (LSB) will celebrate the grand re‑opening of its newly renovated Main Branch in downtown Logansport with a ribbon‑cutting and Business After-Hours event on Tuesday, April 14, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and will include refreshments, guided branch tours, and an opportunity to see firsthand the bank’s modernized downtown location.
The completion of the Main Branch renovation marks the final phase of a campus‑wide construction and modernization project that began in 2024 with the development of the bank’s Operations Center adjacent to the branch. Even in its newly renovated state, the Main Branch has enhanced and expanded parts of the original building that was constructed there back in 1962, when the bank purchased the property and built from the ground up.
“Our Main Branch location has long been an important part of the Cass County community,” said Chad Higgins, President and CEO of Logansport Savings Bank. “We chose to stay here and invest here because we believe in the long‑term vitality of downtown Logansport. By modernizing our existing location, we’re honoring our history while creating a space that better serves our customers, employees, and communities for decades to come.”
The renovated branch blends updated technology and functionality with thoughtful design elements that reflect LSB’s commitment to personalized service and community connection. Changes and enhancements include opening an additional drive-thru lane, having wider drive-thru lanes to better accommodate large trucks, relocating our Night Drop box and drive-thru ATM for easier accessibility, and an expanded Teller line with more room to take care of customers and meet their banking needs.
“Our staff is excited, relieved, and proud to welcome customers and community members back into this building,” says Chad. “Even though we know that people like to do more of their banking electronically today, we also understand our customers want to visit us in person if they are considering other financial services or conducting more confidential business, like discussing a loan. We hope that our new campus offers welcoming spaces, delivers innovative banking solutions, and highlights a deep investment in our community’s success.”
Throughout the project, Logansport Savings Bank was intentional about partnering with local contractors, companies, and service providers whenever possible, ensuring that the investment directly benefited the community it calls home.
“Keeping this project local was important to us,” added Chad. “When we moved forward with this significant decision to invest in our facilities, we wanted that investment to circulate back into our local economy. Working with local partners allowed us to strengthen relationships, support area businesses, and stay true to who we are as a community bank.”
The April 14 celebration will begin with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony in partnership with the Logansport-Cass County Chamber of Commerce, followed by an open‑house‑style Business After Hours event. Guests will be invited to tour the renovated branch, talk with bank leadership and staff, and enjoy light refreshments.
The Main Branch renovation reflects Logansport Savings Bank’s longstanding mission to remain a strong, independent, and locally focused community bank, committed to meeting customers where they are and providing exceptional service with integrity and expertise.
“We are excited about what’s to come and all that we can offer from our new banking campus,” said Chad. “Our focus has always been beyond these buildings, and seeing everything to completion ensures that we’re positioned to serve Logansport, Cass County, and our communities across north-central Indiana well into the future.”
