Logansport Savings Bank awards community grant to the Cass County Family YMCA
Logansport Savings Bank (LSB) is proud to share a community grant of $1,925 with the Cass County Family YMCA, as part of our 100th anniversary celebration. This grant is one of several that will be awarded throughout the year to local organizations chosen by our employees through a consensus vote.
The Cass County Family YMCA was selected by our employees for its continued commitment to individuals, kids and families throughout our community. The YMCA celebrated its 50 year anniversary back in 2017, as it reimagined and renovated its current building to continue to grow. Many of our employees have been fortunate to grow up here in Cass County, or to have raised or be raising their families now in this community. The YMCA’s numerous programs and services have touched the lives of our employees and their families, as well as many of the customers and families that we are privileged to serve as a community bank.
Chad Higgins, President and CEO of Logansport Savings Bank, shared his thoughts on the initiative: "Our goal with these community grants is to honor our past while also investing in the future. For us, being a community bank means staying closely connected to the communities we serve – by building relationships, offering personalized service, and giving back. We believe in the power of local organizations like the Cass County YMCA to drive positive change in the same communities that we care about, and we are proud to contribute to their efforts.”
Throughout our 100-year history, Logansport Savings Bank has grown to proudly serve communities across north-central Indiana. We are “Rooted in History… Focused on the Future.” Because our roots started a century ago in Logansport, we have limited the recipients of these grants to the Logansport and Cass County community for this one-time initiative. As grants are awarded throughout the year, Logansport Savings Bank will share updates on its website and social media channels.
