Logansport Savings Bank announces Bank Officer Promotions

Logansport Savings Bank (LSB) is pleased to announce the promotions of two individuals to new leadership positions within the Bank.

Jennifer Savini has been promoted to Retail Banking Officer. She previously served as a New Accounts and Customer Service Representative for the last two years, where she assisted customers as a resource in opening and managing their accounts. In this role, Jennifer displayed exemplary customer service skills and was able to further develop her supervisory skills under Vice-President of Deposit Operations Sandi Korreckt, and Vice-President of Operations Joni Lambert. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Ball State University and a certification in Teller Operations from the Indiana Bankers Association.

With Joni’s departure due to retirement, Jennifer will be responsible for leading the Customer Service Representative team in her new role. Jennifer and her team are the first friendly faces that you see when you enter the Bank. They are focused on helping customers in-person and by phone with daily transactions and various account management requests.

Chad Handschu has been promoted to Information Security and IT Officer. He previously served as IT Administrator at Logansport Savings Bank, and has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry from various employment ventures throughout his career, including a prior role within the Logansport Community School Corporation.

In his previous and now current role at LSB, Chad has been and will continue to be responsible for maintaining the Bank’s computers, servers, networks, enterprise software and information security systems. It is very important for customer and banking information to remain safe and secure, and Chad’s expertise and oversight ensures that Logansport Savings Bank adheres to industry standards and best-practices.

How our team at Logansport Savings Bank is Leading The Way

Both Jennifer and Chad represent Logansport Savings Bank through various volunteer and leadership commitments within the community. Jennifer served as the United Way of Cass County Campaign Chair in 2023, is currently an active board member for the Salvation Army 360 Life Center, Kiwanis Club of Logansport, and is also serving as Lieutenant Governor for the Arrowhead Division of Kiwanis International. Chad serves as a Head Coach for the Logansport High School Boys and Girls Track and Field teams, and volunteers as an assistant coach for the Logansport High School Boys Cross Country team. Giving back to our community through the time and talent of our employees is one of the significant ways we live out our tagline of “Leading The Way” at Logansport Savings Bank.

Logansport Savings Bank and its Board of Directors would like to congratulate Jennifer and Chad on their Officer Promotions. We are proud to have them take this next step in their careers here at LSB, and we thank them for their continued service to the customers and communities we serve.
