Delayed Delivery of Bill Payment Paper Checks

The United States Postal Service (USPS) makes ongoing changes to their postal delivery system, with attempts to modernize it and incorporate new conveniences for customers all across the country. As they make these changes, it can sometimes affect the timing of mail delivery.
We are seeing that intermittent USPS service disruptions are causing bill payment paper checks to be delayed in getting delivered. Although Logansport Savings Bank does not have a direct impact on delivery timing from the USPS, we want our customers to be aware of these potential delays and plan around them.
Please allow for more time for payments to be completed, if you are sending a paper check through Bill Pay in online or mobile banking. Before you take any action on your outstanding checks, please consider that it could be affected by a potential delay and follow up with the bill’s intended recipient directly at the telephone number listed on your most recent statement.
